No real names required

Choose any display name. Your legal identity is never part of the platform.

Phone-hash identity

We never store your phone number. A one-way cryptographic hash is all that links your account.

Encrypted at rest

Sensitive content is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Your reports, notes, and health data are protected even at the database level.

Community-governed moderation

Reports are handled by vetted community moderators with a 72-hour SLA. No corporate gatekeeping.

Absolutely. SceneCheck uses phone-hash-based identity — we never store or display your phone number. You choose any display name you want, and your real identity is never revealed. All feedback is anonymous.

Both parties must independently confirm an interaction before feedback can be submitted — no one-sided reviews. Scores require at least three unique reviewers before they become visible, preventing gaming. You also get a reflection window to revise feedback before it finalizes.

SceneCheck has a structured reporting system for boundary violations, consent violations, harassment, and more. Reports are reviewed by vetted community moderators within 72 hours. Confirmed violations impact trust scores and can result in suspension.

Your score is only visible to people you interact with through SceneCheck. It’s not publicly searchable. You control your profile visibility, and scores only appear after three unique reviewers have submitted feedback.
